WWDC 2025 live updates: A fresh look for iOS, a dedicated gaming app, and more

Welcome to WWDC 2025

WWDC 2025, Apple’s annual developers conference, begins at 10 a.m. PT, and we’re expecting quite a few announcements right off the bat.

We predict the biggest announcement will be a newly designed iOS, which reports suggest will have similar design elements to visionOS, the software powering the Apple Vision Pro. The company calls it Liquid Glass, according to Bloomberg. That means the new OS could have a transparent interface and more circular app icons that break away from the traditional square format today.

We’re also expecting a dedicated gaming app that would replace its aging Game Center app, and could include access to Apple Arcade, plus other gaming features like leaderboards, recommendations, and ways to challenge friends.

Stick with us as we cover the keynote, and more, right here.
